Eugene McCarthy, a healthcare executive with Insight Health Partners brings more than 28 years of healthcare management experience. He specializes in the implementation of systems to improve hospital operations in all areas and departments. He also has extensive experience with hospital turnarounds, focusing on identifying productivity labor savings and non-labor cost reductions. Gene began his career at a major Boston teaching hospital 27 years ago, focusing on the identification and implementation of productivity improvements and cost reductions. His experience over the years includes working in many major teaching hospitals, community hospitals and large physician practices. Gene has spoken at the National Healthcare Information Management Systems Society conferences and has published papers on operations improvement.
Gene earned a Masters in Business Administration from Anna Maria College as well as a Bachelor of Science at Boston College.
