Larry Scanlan is a founding member of Insight Health Partners and has more than 35 years of executive healthcare and financial experience, including assisting healthcare provider CEOs and boards to develop and implement innovative approaches to performance improvement, long-term financial management, and mergers.
During his consulting career, Larry participated on more than 100 engagements as a consultant, interim executive, project director and oversight manager where he oversaw the large engagements with complex healthcare provider organizations.
Prior to consulting, Larry held top level executive positions, including CEO and CFO both for non-profit and for-profit hospitals and health systems. In addition to his work with Insight, Larry is a renowned author and speaker. He specializes in executive career and business coaching and has written a book Hospital Mergers: Why They Work, Why They Don't that was published in the fall of 2010 and is available through AHA Press.
Larry Scanlan received a Bachelor of Science from Philadelphia University. He is a Fellow for HFMA and a CPA.
